abbv-295 amylin hitting 9.8% loss?

So AbbVie’s got an amylin analog, ABBV-295, doing 9.8% weight loss over 12 weeks. The kicker? It might go monthly thanks to its long half-life. EASD 2026 had some juicy details. Anyone think this could take on cagrilintide in the long run?

That 9.8% is pretty solid, especially if they can make it monthly. Cagri's got competition, for sure. Wonder how ABBV-295 does on 'food noise' and if it'll avoid the 'itch'. Anyone hear how it stacks up side effect-wise?

9.8% over 12 weeks is no joke. If it's monthly, that's a game-changer in the convenience department. Wonder if they'll push for a combo with a GLP-1 down the line. Anyone think this could shift the market for single-pathway peptides?
